This is my solution to the problem. Although the expenses increased so did the overall net , showing the free drinks are somewhat effective.

While the mini fridge is slightly more profitable, I would recommend Tom have a minimum chicken purchase requirement to take a free drink. For example promoting a “free drinks with the purchase of two pieces of chicken” something like that. When only one piece of chicken is purchased Tom makes little to no money on the sale if a drink is taken along with it.

Here is my solution. The strategy is effective.

I think that it is an effective strategy. If he were to do a further business analysis, I would recommend weighing two options. Either raise the price of purchasing chicken (to recover lost profit) or limit the amount of free drinks to be taken.

This is my answer. I think it is effective. My suggestions: He can charge a little bit of money like 2 dollars for all can drink. that will be more effective.

I think that the mini fridge strategy is profitable and effective. However, I would recommend trying to enforce a limit on the amount of drinks a customer can take to further increase profits.

Here is my solution. It is a fun exercise! The data confirms that the mini fridge strategy is effective for his business. One change I would make to his current business plan is to put a limit on the amount of drinks a single customer can take.

Here is my solution for the class assignment due on 9/20/23. Although he is making a small of $34.86, Tom needs to determine whether it is worth the work he has to put into providing the drinks (purchasing and unloading the drinks and constantly refilling the mini-fridge. He could also make more of a profit if he only allowed one drink per purchase rather than an unlimited quantity.

Here is my solution!
Tom definitely made more profit. It was not a whole lot more however considering all the additional effort of keeping his fridge stocked. I think the best solution would be to have some kind of a promotion in which the customer would get a free drink for every 3 pieces of chicken purchased.

My solution shows that Tom’s net income increases $34.86 with the addition of free drinks. He should continue giving away free drinks.
