Here is my solution for this problem! The mini fridge strategy is helpful in bringing in more business. However, it does raise costs by a lot.

He should keep offering the free drinks in his business. Maybe he should charge just some cents to see how the market reacts to this change.

Tom should not be giving away free drinks! It has boosted his chicken sales though so I think he should keep the drinks, but charge people for them.

Here is my solution. Although he has been more profitable since implementing free drinks, I would encourage him to start charging a little for them to help with margins.

I used the sum formula for total sales and multiplied that by the selling price to get the total sales. I then used the sum to get the expenses and multiplied it by the selling price!
The mini fridge strategy is effective!
I do think that that mini fridge is effective because Tom had a higher net income with purchasing a mini fridge. Tom should purchase a mini fridge!!
After calculating the Net Income for Little Chicken, I found that buying the minifrige would result in a higher net income. This excel challenge was a fun way to see the different expenses and income when buying a new product for a business.

I would definitely encourage Tom to continue the drink strategy as his net income has increased because of it.
