I loved this challenge. Really helped me apply concepts from multiple classes!
I loved the integration with more than just our data analytics class, it brought a real life audit scenario that combined all our class knowledge. Great exercise!
I used Pivot Tables to sum up the number of boards counted in both the audit and Cowabunga’s own inventory count. I found the inventory to be understated by 3 boards and so I added it back in the adjusting entry. The problem was Cowabunga not counting any surf boards from the Sundrift, as well as not recording properly all the surf boards already sold from the Cobra, the Surf Lancer, and the BIG Sport.
The use of xlookup and nested if statements was cool, except for all the syntax errors I made had to fix.
Way to go! How did you Bring in all of the samples with their unique ID and Cowabunga counts to the first sheet?
this was a great one!
Took me a little while to find my error, but good practice to review journal entries and auditing practices!!
