I found the instructions for this problem to be ambiguous. I think it would be more helpful to specify the output desired for each worksheet/column before going into how to do it. I think the solution for the email list could use a little more clarifying that the approvers receiving the reminder email are everyone who has an invoice to approve. Currently, it seems to suggest that we only email approvers who have past-due invoices to approve.
I also found the FILTER and XLOOPUP functions are more helpful than indexing as I achieved the same outcome using less complicated formulas.
